It’s here once again!
Proudly organized and mentored by Teater Ekamatra, we bring forward to you
PESTA Peti Putih 2008!
The highly anticipated Malay theatre competition is back this year with an over-arching theme.
This year, we are stepping beyond the immediate social context of Singapore with our theme
“Dari Garis Pinggir ke Gelanggang Global: Travels Beyond the Margins.”
After last year’s successful production and winning through Most Outstanding Performer award,
For the second consecutive time Republic Polytechnic’s Malay Cultural Group’s very own Pentas Karyawan is participating in the competition again.
And we are back with fresh new faces and talents.
Written by ‘Arifah ‘Atiqah Bte Rahmat and directed by Wirni Asyura Bte Hamli, we are proud to present “Trapped”.
Money. Lust. Love. Greed. Pride. Ego. Globalization. Women.
That’s what “Trapped” is about.

A play worth the watch as it reflects on our own view on how human adapts to the rapid changes of the globalized world today.
Do spread the words around and come with your family and friends.
Your presence and support is very much appreciated
We hope to see you there!
